Osan Air Force Base. Republic of Korean

TSgt Moulton began a year long tour in Korea in April of 2006. He was assigned to the 51st Munitions Squadron.



He directly managed scheduling and unscheduled inspections of the Alternate Mission Equipment, normally installed equipment and war reserve material equipment items in support of 27 A-10  and 26 f-16 air crafts. Prioritizes resources to guarantee uniform workflow. Coordinates the availability and turn-in of all equipment scheduled for maintenance with aircraft maintenance unit weapon personnel. Synchronizes RAP workload and training requirements with the flight training monitor and maintenance section chief. Recommends and applies actions to subordinates on issues associated with maintenance activities. Ensure maintenance data entries are accurately documented and entered into the integrated maintenance data system database.

As the most forward deployed permanently based wing in the Air Force, and equipped with A-10 Thunderbolt IIs and F-16 Fighting Falcons, the 51st Fighter Wing is charged with executing combat operations, receiving follow-on forces and defending the base from attack. As the air component to U.S. Forces Korea and Combined Forces Command, 7th Air Force provides the command and control structures and personnel necessary to deliver precise, persistent, combined air and space power in defense of the Republic of Korea.

Osan Air Base is one of two major U.S. Air Force installations operated by United States Force Korea, the other being Kunsan Air Base.
